Our delightful 200 year old cottage serves you as an ideal starting point for getting to know Norfolk. Explore the coastal range of beaches, wildlife and walking routes. Enjoy an afternoon tea, experience seal watching from a boat or enjoy a drink in a local pub garden with some fantastic food! (recommendations are given!)
Staneve Cottage provides completely child friendly accommodation, equipped with many useful things for young families for ease. Just a short drive from London, you can immerse yourself in all the charms Norfolk has to offer.

Ground Floor
Kitchen: Newly refurbished fully equipped kitchen, complete with a grill/oven, electric hob, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, nespresso machine, toaster and kettle.
Lounge: Enjoy a spacious lounge with comfortable seating, perfect for unwinding. Features include sky television, nostalgic SEGA megadrive, boardgames, record player, and topping it off with a cozy wood-burning stove to warm your evenings.
Dining Room: Gather around the country-style dining table, with ample space or enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning sun in our courtyard garden.
Parking: is available right outside the cottage for ease of access.
Enjoy the bench at the front of the cottage for a late afternoon drink in the sun.

First Floor
Bedroom 1. A fixed king size bed with storage, wardrobe and space to fit a travel cot next to the bed. Two bedside tables with storage and lamps. Hairdryer, mirror, wardrobe and storage included.
Bedroom 2. A smaller bedroom which has a king size bed or two twins which can be zipped together or separated easily as required. Storage and mirror within this room.Those with Children; One bedguard, one travel cot, one extra thick mattress are also included in this room and stored underneath the bed.
Play space/reading. The landing is spacious and has a chair and a large soft rug where you can sit and play with children and also a delightful reading area with books, toys and a reading light.
Bathroom: Refresh in a well-equiped spacious bathroom featuring a corner bath with an electric shower overhead. Storage, laundry basket, and towels provided.
We do not provide beach towels, please be sure to pack your own.

We take pride in offering a personal service, with thoughtful recommendations for your enjoyment, from the best places to relax, to the coziest spots for a quiet meal, we’re here to ensure you have everything you need for a restful, memorable stay.
Checking in is from 3pm although please request if you require earlier, I will do my best for you.
Checking out by 10:30am, however if you need to stay longer and we do not have guests checking in, please let me know and i will do my best.

Local Attractions
Just a short drive away in one direction, you will find Brancaster Beach with its own car park, toilet facilities and shop. The beach options are wonderful with the incredible coastline. The best thing is they are white sandy beaches!
The next direction takes you to Hunstanton here you will find a Sealife Centre, amusements and much more!
Go crabbing at Brancaster Staithe or Wells-Next-The-Sea, enjoy good ice cream in Thornham or a fabulous fresh seafood meal at The White Horse overlooking the marshes and beach.
Holkham Bay invites you to take long, hand-in-hand strolls along its stunning sand dunes. One of our personal favourite beaches to visit. Pause for a bite at the beach café, or book a table at one of the favourite nearby pubs, The White Horse in Holme-Next-The-Sea is perfect, for a good lunch or romantic meal to celebrate this special time.
